Leaders at Endless Fury and Corrosive/Greyice in particular, have long enjoyed checking out the BloodSworn website.  This is no surprise to anyone who even bothers to check out our wordpress blog sites.  EF used to have a splash page, but back in March of 2009, Corrosive decided to update the EF site with a shiny new look.  Where else to come shopping for the look besides a lower ranked guild on the same server?

Of course, Odinneke makes an awesome theme.  It was quite popular back in 2007 when we started using it, a bit more difficult to find now.  Gogo - google it!  It will take a bit of time to find the theme, but you too can swap your guild's header so that your website can look like ours did.  BloodSworn left the copyright info from Odinneke in place at the bottom of the theme.  Odinneke provided this theme, with different colors, to WoWlovers for free.

What most of us at BloodSworn didn't realize...was that the leaders of Endless Fury found it enjoyable/necessary/helpful to actually access our private forum and copy and paste even the most mundane of our posts.

When I learned of this situation, it was quite a surprise.  I mean, Endless Fury, is full of alot of skilled gamers.  Exclude their leaders and you have basically a good gaming guild of committed and talented raiders.  Their personal play style might not mesh with mine, but I've played with some of them and observed them in trade or on wow forums and I think there are some sharp folks playing at EF. Certainly sharp enough to figure out the bosses without 'stealing/ninjaing/hacking/borrowing' from other guild's private websites.

There is a ton of information about WoW bosses on the internet.  From the kindly guilds like Fusion that open up their websites for everyone to Tankspot, Youtube, EJ, there is an endless supply of information perfect to sift thru and glean knowledge from.  We all have friends that play in other guilds or on other servers, most of us chat with these pals about strats and tips for bosses.  Why that isn't enough for the leaders of Endless Fury is beyond me.

After learning about Corrosive's self proclaimed 'hack' to our website, I did the following things:

1) I personally spoke to the long term raiders of BloodSworn, showed them a few links, and discussed exactly how to proceed.
2) I went to the leaders of the other guilds that Corrosive boasts about hacking and alerted them to the security breach.  Sure, it is just a gaming forum but what if personal information is kept on that site?  Also if the webmasters of these guilds wanted to openly share with Corrosive and Endless Fury then they could easily issue poor, curious Corro a user name and password.
3) I started on a new website.  Sometimes change is good.  In the last two years I ran out of steam in creating something interesting for our guild, particularly as the demands of RL added up. Thanks to this incident, we have something pretty and abit more fun and interactive.  Live chat! Streaming Blue Updates! Well, it is about exciting as I can make it.
4) I did nothing on the WoW forums.  Why not?  Well, it has been our policy NOT to post on the forums.  My last attempt at assisting in a temporary progression thread that primarily updated the Alliance kills while Morg was 2 weeks AFK resulted in a flurry of namecalling posts from EF members and their wee trolls. Don't remember? Let me remind you -

So, I kept my mouth shut and let it roll off my back like water off a duck.

Afterall, these are the same little boys who have called me names, assailed my sexuality, ridiculed me and the guys/gals I play with for over a year.  They never let up and they never run out of lies to tell or insults to sling.  They are cyber bullies.  When the blow up doll got a leak, they just found a new way to get their rocks off.  I found I can avoid the trouble they try and create if I just stay away from the WoW forums.

Or,
at least,
I used to be able to.

The other day I was having a friendly chat with our raiders about the defection of 2 of our members to Endless Fury.  (Like all guilds, we had a  couple of guys go out in search of greener pastures. No Tauren joke intended.)  I advised my guild that most if not all of the members of BloodSworn are capable of walking into EF and getting a spot to play.  Since WoTLK, 5 members from BloodSworn have moved to EF.  Each was given an immediate raiding spot.  Interesting when you think about how the boys at EF constantly say that BloodSworn is full of fails/bads/shit players.

I asked that if any other raider was planning on making a move to EF, they kindly step out of the raid as we have more than 25 people online that would like to play and raid.  No point in sitting a keen player for one that wishes to leave tomorrow.  I received this whisper from Deathlymorg, MT and RL of Endless Fury.

This 'hunny' thought about things.  This 'retarded' one evaluated the situation.  This 'little missy' considered her options and this is what I came up with.

or to be more clear

19:20 [Ravenmeow]: How about if we just keep writing strats and helpful tips for you to take off our website. If you boys needed help, you could have just asked for  a membership.
19:21 [Deathlymorg]: Nah, i prefer my own strats considering you are months behind Cheesy

19:22 [Ravenmeow]: Not that the information wasnt readily availabe.  Just you guys are too lazy to look it up, you need to copy and paste from other guild's sites.
19:23 [Deathlymorg]: haha u really think we steal shit from your forums, you guys, who are way behind us
19:23 [Deathlymorg]: are you retarded ?
19:23 [Ravenmeow]: I think most of the guilds would be happy to help you.  We all understand your shortcomings - just ask us.
19:23 [Deathlymorg]: but

19:23 [Deathlymorg]: 'loot sigils'

19:24 [Ravenmeow]: Its not just strats - its even simple description of upcoming instances.  Thats what makes you so pathetic.19:24 [Ravenmeow]: Yea, disconnects are a bitch for sigils.
19:24 [Deathlymorg]: orly not that we could copy paste something from mmo champ and u could copy something from mmo champ
19:24 [Deathlymorg]: lololol missy you need to think before u talk
19:25 [Ravenmeow]: but you dont get it from mmo-champion, you get it word for word directly from BloodSworn.  That is why you are sad.
19:25 [Deathlymorg]: haha the fact you honestly believe that doesnt say much hunny
19:25 [Ravenmeow]: I never admired those guys that could copy the test paper of the girl sitting next to them.
